Jerramy Stevens — the former Seattle Seahawk and now husband of soccer star Hope Solo — was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in Manhattan Beach.

Police said that Solo, the goalkeeper for the U.S. national soccer team, was in the car at the time.

Stevens, 35, of Kirkland, Wash. was stopped about 1:30 a.m. by a Manhattan Beach officer who noticed the former football player was driving without his headlights on, Officer Stephanie Martin said in a statement.

Stevens was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and later released with a citation and is scheduled to appear March 19 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
