Crews were battling a brush fire in the Angeles National Forest Tuesday after a vehicle caught fire near the Antelope Valley.
The Bouquet Fire was reported about 2 p.m. in the area of Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
By 4 p.m., the Angeles National Forest said the fire had burned about 75 acres, but later adjusted the acreage to less than 50 acres.
On Tuesday evening, estimates were updated to 50 acres with 90% containment.
The overturned and burned vehicle could be seen near where the blaze apparently began, aerial video from Sky5 showed.
The blaze is near the Bouquet Reservoir and was burning uphill from Martindale Truck Trail, forest officials said.
At least three helicopters were making water and retardant drops on the blaze, the aerial video showed. The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the blaze.
It was about 74 degrees in the area where the fire was burning and winds were gusting at 15 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
At least one lane of the roadway was blocked while crews were battling the blaze.
