Evacuation orders for parts of the the Inland Empire have been lifted after a storm cell made its way through the Southland Saturday and into Sunday.
Some residents in Yucaipa were placed under evacuation orders due to potential mud and debris flows, though those orders were downgraded to warnings Sunday evening and the shelter at Redlands East Valley High School was closed.
The orders center around the El Dorado and Apple Fire burn scars. Oak Glen, Forest Falls, Mountain Home Village, Angelus Oaks and northeast Yucaipa were all included.
Portions of Riverside and San Bernardino counties had been under flash flood warnings that were lifted Saturday night.
The warnings and evacuation orders capped off a weekend when weather varied wildly across the Southland.
In Pasadena Saturday morning, people were enjoying the sprinkling of precipitation while out for a walk near Rose Bowl Stadium as the storm system worked through the San Gabriel Mountains.
The drizzle also didn’t stop fans from lining up at the Rose Bowl to be the first to get in for Saturday night’s performances at K-pop concert KAMP.
Other areas were a faced more intense weather.
In Riverside County, footage showed steady rain accumulating into rivulets on streets.
In Yucaipa, marble-sized hail fell, while in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, major flooding could be seen near Coyote Canyon.
Rain is likely to continue through Sunday morning in some areas.
