The incident took place on Saturday at about 2 a.m. in front of the Tuscany Club in the 100 block of North Harbor Boulevard (map).

Surveillance video showed a man, who was identified by family members as Irvin Ynfante, falling to the ground after being punched in the face.

Ynfante was taken to a local trauma center where he remained in a coma on Friday, according to family members.

Police have asked the public for help in identifying two men seen in the video in which Ynfante and two others were assaulted.

Investigators believe the fight started because someone in Ynfante’s group had looked at a girl who was with the two men now sought by police.

One of the two men police were searching for was described as white, about 6 feet tall, 210 pounds, in his mid-20s, with a muscular build, brown eyes, a deep voice and brown, spiked hair.

He was clean shaven and wearing a white long-sleeve, collared button-down shirt during the assault.

The second man was described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic, 5 foot 8 inches, 180 pounds, in his mid-20s, with a clean shave. He was wearing a red T-shirt with unknown lettering.

“Suspect No. 2 has a very distinctive set of lines that are razored into the sides of his head,” Hamel said.

The woman, who police said was possibly the first man’s girlfriend, was wearing a white tank top and had blond hair.

Friends and family members have set up a GoFundMe account to help with Ynfante’s medical expenses.

“He is going to need medical attention for a while and we want to help his family out through this difficult time,” a message on the account page read.

Updates on Ynfante’s condition were also being posted on a Facebook page Justice for Irvin set up on his behalf.
