Police asked Tuesday for people to come forward if they witnessed a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at a crosswalk in Orange that caused a daughter and husband to be seriously injured and a father to be killed the previous day.

A man in his 50s, woman in her 40s, and her father, who was in his 80s, were hit by a Volvo around 6:30 p.m. Monday, according to an Orange Police Department news release.

The driver was traveling at an unknown speed westbound on West La Veta Avenue from South Main Street when she plowed into the three people who were walking southbound at the South Devon Road crosswalk (map). Police say she did not see the family before hitting them.

All three victims were treated by Orange Fire Department personnel and taken to a local hospital.

The couple was listed in serious but stable condition.

The driver remained at the scene and was not cited.
