A Los Angeles Police Department helicopter made an emergency landing on the football field of a high school in Hollywood early Friday morning, authorities said.

The pilot was alerted by a sensor and made the precautionary landing at around 4:15 a.m. at Helen Bernstein High School, in the 1300 block of North Wilton Place, said Sgt. Rudy Barillas of LAPD’s Air Support Division.

No one was injured in the incident.

Crews were working to determine the cause and perform necessary maintenance, Barillas said.

There was no immediate word on whether the aircraft would affect classes or activities at the school on Friday.

The school has been used a filming location for the television show “Glee.”
