A TSA security checkpoint at Terminal A at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank lost power about 5 p.m. Tuesday, prompting the airport to move passengers from one terminal to the other.
The power outage was “likely due to the storm,” according to airport spokesman Victor Gill.
The concourse and gates still have power, Gill said.
Passengers were being directed to pass through security at Terminal B and then being bused across the air field to Terminal A.
Power was restored as of 2 a.m. but the screening equipment had not been checked by the TSA, according to Gill.
The terminal would remain closed until that could be completed.
