Deputies responded to the 25000 block of Dracaea Avenue (map) at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to Deputy Munoz with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

One of the victims was found dead near a bicycle.

A second victim was injured and later died. It was not immediately clear if they were transported to a hospital, or if the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have not released the names, gender or age of either victim.

Shell casings were found at the scene, but Deputy Munoz would not confirm whether a shooting had occurred.

No further information was immediately available.
