A shooting in Isla Vista on Monday night near the campus of UC Santa Barbara left at least three men injured, authorities said.
The shooting occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the 6500 block of Sabado Tarde Road, according to officials with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department.
Of the three men taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, two were wounded by gunfire and one was injured in an assault, county fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni said.
According to law enforcement officials, the incident involved two assailants and two victims. One of the assailants fled in a white, four-door sedan.
