A man who worked as a security guard for a middle school in Rialto was arrested Monday after he was accused of molesting a female student in 2007 at a Motel 6 in Fontana.

Bryan Heredia, 39, was taken into custody after the victim recently reported the incident to authorities, the Fontana Police Department stated in a news release.

Heredia worked as a security guard at Kucera Middle School when the incident took place in February 2007, according to the Police Department.

Heredia took the girl, who was under the age of 14 and attended the middle school, to a Motel 6 in Fontana where they engaged in sexual intercourse, the Police Department stated.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Heredia, according to the news release.

It was unclear if there were any other possible victims.
