Running the stadium stairs before a finish on the field — flashback to high school gym class, anyone?
That’s what happened at Dodger Stadium on Saturday morning as hundreds of athletes gathered to compete in a Spartan Race for an epic competition.
Runners trekked the decks of the 56,000 seat stadium, running up and down flights of stairs and completing 20 obstacles over the course of the 5K race.
Of course, the kids weren’t left out, as additional one mile and one-half mile races were available.
Missed this one? Spartan Race is set to return to Southern California on Sept. 21 as it heads to Orange County in a yet to be determined stadium.
