A hit-and-run collision left a woman and a child injured in Long Beach early Friday morning.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the collision occurred around 12:24 a.m. Friday morning in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and 8th Street.
A car hit a woman who was pushing her 4-month old baby in the stroller before speeding off, according to police. No vehicles or other people were hit.
The woman and baby were both transported to a hospital but are expected to recover.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. No identifying information was immediately made available.
