A $10 million scratcher was purchased in the Inland Empire this week, marking one of three Southern California lottery players to win at least $5 million in May thus far.
According to the California Lottery, Steve Love won $10 million on a California 200X Scratchers ticket purchased at a Shell station on Sunnymead Boulevard in Moreno Valley.
Meanwhile in Monterey Park, Ivan Hwee joined Love as a multi-millionaire after winning $7 million on a Crossword Xtreme Scratchers card bought at a Country Store Liquor on Garfield Avenue.
One more game yielding a massive multi-million dollar prize was purchased in Oceanside. Peter Turner won $5 million off a Year of Fortune Scratchers sold at a CVS located at 1980 College Blvd.
These three winners join a crop of Southern California lottery players that have struck gold in recent weeks. Two players each won $1.6 million in a Powerball drawing in April with tickets purchased in San Dimas and Oxnard.
