It’s been just one month since self-driving taxi service Waymo starting accepting paid rides in Los Angeles, but the service seems to have caught on.
Between L.A., Phoenix and San Francisco, Waymo is serving more than 50,000 customers a week, the company said on X, formerly Twitter.
As Engadget noted, that figure equates to “an average of 300 bookings every hour or five bookings every minute.”
“Thank you to our riders for trusting us to get you to your destinations safely and reliably,” the company added.
