While it may be summer, Six Flags Magic Mountain is looking forward to the “scariest time of the year” after it announced its upcoming lineup for Fright Fest.

Fright Fest Extreme, poised to be Six Flags’ “largest, scariest and most extreme Fright Fest ever,” will run for 32 nights this year.

Guests visiting the park will encounter legendary horror brands such as:

  • The “Saw” franchise
  • Netflix’s “Stranger Things”
  • “Army of the Dead”
  • “The Conjuring”
  • “Annabelle”
  •  “The Nun”
  • Legendary Entertainment’s “Trick ‘r Treat”
  • “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”

“For over 30 years, Fright Fest has been haunting the thrills-and-chills season like no other, and this year we are turning things upside down with a huge array of amazing horror franchises,” Edithann Ramey, “chief fright officer” of Six Flags, said in a statement.

“We take pride in offering the best experiences and are committed to innovating our parks each and every year to provide the most frightful memories for our guests.”

Newcomers like Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” which have been mainstays at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights in the past, are among the new intellectual properties coming to Six Flags.

Other horror brands like Saw and Conjuring will be returning after their debut in 2023.

Fright Fest Extreme will run on select Thursday through Sunday nights from Sept. 7 to Nov. 3 at the theme park from 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and 7:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Less scary offerings like Kids Boo Fest and Oktoberfest will also be available on select days from 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

More Fright Fest announcements are expected to be shared throughout the summer.
