Gayle Anderson reports on this July 4, 2024, there is “The Ultimate Food Drive – Celebrate and Give,” where Operation Warm Wishes plans to fill a U-Haul truck with food to serve these groups who often face hunger on a daily basis. The event takes place at Tustin High School on July 4, with food collection beginning at 6 a.m.
The nonprofit organization says the goal of the holiday event is not only to provide nourishment but also to foster unity and empathy within the community. Aside from the food drive, attendees can enjoy music, free haircuts for veterans, giveaways and much more.
Operation Warm Wishes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing immediate help to homeless individuals, families in need and at-risk youth. They offer a range of services from meals, shelter, mentorship, clothing and hygiene items to organizing community events, fundraisers and educational programs aimed at empowering those in need.
