More than 30 German shepherd-mix dogs were found abandoned in Highland on Monday.
The dogs appeared to be in good condition, said C.L. Lopez, a San Bernardino County spokeswoman. She said she did not know if the dogs were found in a home or a business.
“It’s definitely not the average amount of dogs that people have,” she said.
Officials are trying to reach the owner. The dogs were taken to the Devore Animal Shelter and will be put up for adoption in 10 days if the owner does not appear, Lopez said.
