A brush fire that erupted Saturday night near Devore is now 25 percent contained, fire officials reported.

The Ken Fire was fully contained on Sunday, after burning 20 acres at a moderate rate of speed and sending multiple agencies into “attack mode,” the San Bernardino County Fire Department reported in a tweet.

The fire was burning off the 15 Freeway, between Kenwood and Blue Cut.

At least 185 firefighters were battling the blaze until 100 percent containment was reached around 4 p.m.

Multiple lanes of the 15 Freeway were closed while fire crews hauled in emergency equipment.
