A woman was killed in a crash along the 105 Freeway in South Los Angeles, prompting a temporarily closure of the highway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The three-vehicle crash was reported about 2:10 a.m. along the eastbound side of the highway, just west of Central Avenue, according to the CHP.

Two vehicles ended up in the center divider, while one was on the right side.

All lanes were blocked after the crash and the freeway was closed until about 6 a.m.

CHP officer Monica Posada told the Los Angeles Times that the victim was a 31-year-old woman. No other injuries were reported.

An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the victim’s gender. The post has been updated.
