The blaze was reported about 3:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Miraloma Avenue. Anaheim Fire & Rescue, Orange County Fire Authority and several nearby city fire departments were responding, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

An ambulance could be seen arriving in the area just before 4:30 p.m., and it appeared two firefighters were being treated. One firefighter was taken to an ambulance.

Police said the two firefighters injured were from Fullerton Fire Department; one had heat exhaustion and the other had an “electrical” injury.

The area is filled with industrial businesses, and the building that caught fire was American Chemical & Sanitary Supply Inc., a janitorial and sanitary supplies company.

“My warehouse manager came into the office and said he heard an explosion by the water heater so I assumed that’s what started the fire, and it moved very quickly,” Luis Salazar, the company’s owner, told KTLA.

An employee received injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

Miraloma Avenue had been closed in both directions between Van Buren Street and Tustin Avenue, but later reopened.

The fire was under control around 7 p.m., police said.
