Cindy Von Quednow was a digital news producer at KTLA, where she also oversaw the online elements for “California Cooking” with Jessica Holmes. Before joining the KTLA team, Cindy worked as a multimedia journalist and breaking news reporter at the Ventura County Star.
She is a graduate of Cal State University Northridge, where she earned dual degrees in journalism and Central American studies, with a minor in Spanish-language journalism.
In 2017, she was named one of Los Angeles’ most influential Latina journalists by the California Chicano News Media Association. She is fluent in Spanish and Spanglish.
A native of Los Angeles, Cindy enjoys going to Dodger games, checking out shows at local venues and cuddling with her two dogs.
She left the station in 2023.
