Congratulations to KTLA 5’s 2024 local winner, Ana Estevez, for her tireless work to reform the justice system to protect children caught in divorce disputes. Ana now has a chance to become a nationwide finalist, and possibly be named Nexstar’s Remarkable Woman of the Year. Find out on this year’s Remarkable Women special, airing on April 29th at 7pm on KTLA 5.
KTLA 5 News recognizes the great contributions women have made to our nation and local communities. Remarkable Women is part of a nationwide Nexstar Media initiative to honor the influence that women have had on public policy, social progress, and the quality of life.
KTLA 5 celebrates local women who inspire, lead, and forge the way for other women. It is not just about one day or one month — it is about what they do, day-in and day-out.
In order to celebrate these women, we asked your help to learn about their background and stories. Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations for this year’s Remarkable Women contest.
