KTLA 5 News recognizes the great contributions women have made to our nation and local communities. Remarkable Women is part of a nationwide Nexstar Media initiative to honor the influence that women have had on public policy, social progress, and the quality of life.

KTLA 5 celebrates local women who inspire, lead, and forge the way for other women. It is not just about one day or one month — it is about what they do, day-in and day-out.

In order to celebrate these women, we need your help to learn about their background and stories. Please use the form above to nominate a Remarkable Woman in your life. Entries accepted through November 30, 2023.

During the month of March 2024, we’ll highlight four local women who will be considered for Nexstar’s nationwide 2024 Woman of the Year Award, with KTLA 5’s local winner announced on April 2, 2024. The nationwide finalists and winner will be announced on a “Remarkable Women” special in May 2024.
