Diem Brown, the reality star most famous for her stint on the MTV series “Real World / Road Rules Challenge,” has died. She was 32.
After a brief battle against cancer in her stomach, colon, liver and lymph nodes, Brown died at a New York City hospital on Friday morning with friends and family by her side, according to the Associated Press.
She had been diagnosed with the disease twice before, battling ovarian cancer in 2005 and again in 2012. She blogged about her 2012 battle for People.com. She signed off from that blog in early 2013.
In August she gave an interview with People in which she stated she was cancer-free.
