“Dumb and Dumber,” “Junior,” and “Muriel’s Wedding” are all celebrating a major milestone this year. They’re turning 30 years old.
Netflix celebrates these titles and more for the third wave of their “Milestone Movies: The Anniversary Collection,” which features films from 1994. The series launched in January to honor movies having major anniversaries this year. This includes “award winners, guilty pleasures, and cult classics,” the streamer explained.
Several hit films from 1994 are now available to stream on the platform including Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels’ comedic hit “Dumb and Dumber,” the feature film reboot of the iconic classic “Little Rascals,” “Clerks,” “Toni Collette’s “Major League II,” “Natural Born Killers,” “Serial Mom,” “Street Fighter,” “The Paper,” “Reality Bites,” “The River Wild,” “My Girl II” and more.
“In addition to the cinematic celebrations in your Netflix queue, in-person special screenings of select films will continue at the Paris Theater in New York and Los Angeles’ Egyptian and Bay theaters throughout the year,” Netflix explained in a media release.
