From the depths of the sea, back to the block — Snoop Dogg has landed in Paris to fulfill his duties for the Summer Olympics.

In addition to his correspondent duties, the Long Beach, California native is in place to light up in a major way.

On Friday, Snoop will be one of the many torchbearers of the Olympic flame before the games’ opening ceremony.

Uncle Snoop is set to carry the game through the streets of the northern Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, which is home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium, mayor Mathieu Hanotin revealed on X, formerly Twitter.

“Saint-Denis, (the) final stop before the Eiffel Tower! An international casting @SnoopDogg for the final journey of the Olympic flame,” Hanotin wrote in a translated post.

The event will be capped by a concert by French singer/songwriter Slimane from the square in front of the Basilica.

Back in January, it was revealed that the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper would be “on site in Paris to provide regular reports,” NBC revealed.

“I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement.

“We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix,” he said, adding, “Peace and Olympic LOVE, ya dig?”

The opening ceremony of the Paris Games begins on Friday at 10:30 a.m. PST.
