Krispy Kreme is celebrating its 87th anniversary on Friday with discounted Original Glazed Doughnuts.

The low price honors the doughnut chain’s 87 years in business since its founder, Vernon Rudolph, first started selling donuts in grocery stores in 1937.

To snag the deal, customers must purchase any dozen at regular price. Visitors are limited to two 87-cent dozen donuts when purchased in-person and one cheap dozen when purchased online with the code “BDAY.”

This isn’t the first time Krispy Kreme has celebrated its birthday. In 2023, it celebrated its 86th birthday with doughnuts for, unsurprisingly, 86 cents.

The chain is also known for offering freebies and discounts, including on Leap Day, World Kindness Day, April Fools’ Day and other holidays.
