Spring is in happening in Orange County at the South Coast Botanic Garden. This is an experience called BLOOM! Five floral displays featuring more than 21-thousand bulb of various flowers are putting on a vernal equinox show now thru June. Visitor information is on the southcoastbotanicgarden.org website.

Mother Nature is putting on a Springtime show at the FLOWER FIELDS AT CARLSBAD RANCH. 55-acres of radiant rows of Ranunculus flowers are in bloom only until Mother’s Day weekend on the rolling hills of North San Diego County. theflowerfields.com website says all tickets must be purchased online. The website suggests checking the bloom status before visiting. The website also reminds guests pets, drones, balloons, and bicycles are not permitted.

Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy

The art community describes this as “the world’s first art amusement park.” It’s Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy, built in Hamburg, Germany in 1987 featuring celebrated artists Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Hockey, Roy Lichenstein and more. It lost its funding and disappeared. Well, it’s back and we can experience this amazing and unusual art and amusement park creation inside two huge Los Angeles warehouses.

Never-before-seen at a museum and making its American debut, Asian Comics: Evolution of an Art Form at the Bowers Museum. The museum says this is the largest ever selection of original artworks from Asian comics, displayed alongside their printed, mass-produced forms.

This exhibition is a vivid journey through the art of comics and visual storytelling across Asia. From its historical roots to the most recent digital innovations, the exhibition looks to popular Japanese manga and beyond, highlighting key creators, characters, and publications.

Los Angeles philanthropist and entrepreneur Bernard Kinsey is talking about THE KINSEY AFRICAN AMERICAN ART AND HISTORY COLLECTION, an outstanding exhibition at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

The inspired work of Bernard and Shirley Kinsey, and their son Khalil, is considered one of the largest and most comprehensive of its kind. Curated by Khalil Kinsey and historian Larry Earl, the exhibition focuses on the lives, and accomplishments from the 16th century through the years of slavery and emancipation to the civil rights movement and modern-day.

The award-winning documentary “The Orchestra Chuck Built”, the story of former lawyer turned orchestra conductor Chuck Dickerson, who created the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, the largest majority African American orchestra in the United States.
