It’s Make-A-Wish Wednesday!
Wish kid Marian McGlocklin joined us live with her mom Sara to share details on her magical wish. Marian was diagnosed with Niemann Pick Type C (NPC). This rare progressive genetic disorder currently has no FDA-approved treatment but Marian has started an experimental treatment and her family isn’t giving up.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation helped brighten the family’s spirit by helping Marian meet Ree Drummond a.k.a The Pioneer Woman. Marian and Sara shared with Lu Parker and Glen Walker the special bond they have for Ree and how special that day was.
