March is National Reading Month: L.A. Arboretum Library

March is National Reading Month, a month to motivate people of all ages to read every day.

Gayle Anderson reports in addition to municipal and county libraries, there’s the Los Angeles County Arboretum’s Plant Science Library, a library most people don’t know exists. It contains an extensive collection of publications specializing in the history of the L.A. Arboretum, Southern California gardening, Botany, native plants, environment, water, birding, and more! Plus, the facility contains extensive research material and information that cannot be found online.


The library is open to L.A. Arboretum members and the public with paid admission.
