Two firefighters have been injured at the scene of a wildfire in northeastern California.
A state fire spokeswoman says they were taken to the hospital in unknown condition after the Gold Fire broke out Monday in Lassen County.
An earlier fire in the same county prompted mandatory evacuations and threatened 170 buildings.
Authorities are warning of poor air quality in central and northern parts of the state due to several wildfires in rural areas.
