The nominations for the 95th annual Academy Awards were announced this morning by actors Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams in Beverly Hills.
“Everything Everywhere All at Once” led with 11 nominations, and the movie’s actress, Michelle Yeoh, made history as the first Asian nominated in the Best Actress category.
As the nominations were read, there was an audible gasp as Andrea Riseborough’s name was announced in the Best Actress category for her role in “To Leslie.” Singer Rihanna earned herself her first Oscar nomination for her song “Lift Me Up” for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the 95th Academy Awards, which will air live on March 12 on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The awards will also be streamed on ABC.com, Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV.
