3.7-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Piru

A 3.7-magnitude earthquake rocked Piru Sunday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The U.S. Geological Survey published this graphic of a 3.7-magnitude earthquake that rocked Piru on Sept. 7, 2014.

The earthquake struck at 9:18 p.m. with a depth of 9 miles.

Castaic was 9 miles from the epicenter and Santa Clarita was 16 miles away.

KTLA viewers reported shaking in Simi Valley, Northridge, Chatsworth, Canoga Park, Thousand Oaks and Santa Clarita.

No damage was immediately reported.
