A school bus crash in South Los Angeles left eight children and two adults injured on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash involved at least one other vehicle and occurred around 3:45 p.m. at 2426 W. Washington Blvd. in the Arlington Heights neighborhood.

The children, all 7-to-12-years-old, were treated for non-life threatening injuries and transported to a local hospital as a precaution.

The driver and an assistant were assessed at the scene, but not transported.
