The Latest on a plane crash in the Tehachapi Mountains that killed 3 people (all times local):

5:30 p.m.

Authorities have identified three people who died when their plane crashed in the snowy Tehachapi Mountains in California.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office says those killed were 38-year-old Marina Villavicencio of Yorba Linda; 53-year-old Felipe Plascencia of Whittier and 74-year-old Ruben Piranian of Granada Hills.

The twin-engine Beechcraft was reported overdue Thursday on a flight from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles.

Kern County authorities spotted the wreck on Saturday and retrieved the bodies over the weekend.

Much of the wreckage was under about 5 feet of snow.

Federal investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office says it has recovered all three victims of a plane crash in the snowy Tehachapi Mountains.

The twin-engine Beechcraft was reported overdue Thursday on a flight from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles.

Kern County authorities spotted the wreck on Saturday and located one body.

Much of the wreckage was under about 5 feet of snow.

The Sheriff’s Office said Sunday evening that the other two bodies were also recovered.
