Authorities and loved ones are searching for a teenager who has been missing for over a week.

The missing girl was identified as Genesis Balbuena, 14, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Balbuena disappeared on March 31 and was last seen on the 200 block of West 121st Street in South L.A.

She is described as a Hispanic girl standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The girl may have a possible destination of Pomona, authorities said. Her family has not heard from her since her disappearance and is concerned for her well-being.
