The Sacramento County Coroner’s office recently determined a body found inside a missing woman’s car was that of 20-year-old Aubrey Andrews, who was nine months pregnant when she died, according to KTLA sister station KTXL.

Officials said Andrews’ unborn child also died. The cause of death was not determined as of Wednesday.

Andrews’ body was discovered Monday in her white four-door Toyota Prius in a parking lot about 5 miles from her home.

“There were no obvious signs of foul play, but we are not ruling anything out,” Officer Justin Brown with Sacramento Police Department told KTXL at the time.

Andrews was reported missing by her husband on Dec. 6. He said she was “distraught” when she drove off in the Prius and left behind all personal items.

Her purse was found outside the couple’s home a day after she was reported missing.

The couple had ongoing marital problems and Aubrey Andrews had filed a restraining order against her husband, Edward Andrews, in January after he allegedly threw her to the ground, KTXL reported.

The couple also had a 3-year-old son.
