A Cal State San Bernardino student who had been reported missing on Saturday has been found safe, officials said.
The woman was identified as Nitheesha Kandula, 23, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Kandula was last seen on May 28 in Los Angeles. Loved ones reported her missing two days later.
By Monday, however, John Guttierez, chief of Cal State San Bernardino Police, noted she “has been located and is safe.”
The circumstances around her disappearance and the events leading up to her location by authorities have not been released.
