A child was fatally struck by a car in Menifee Sunday night, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The child, whose name, age and gender have not been released, was struck shortly after 7 p.m. in the 29000 block of Shadow Hills Street, the Fire Department said on Twitter.
The minor was declared dead at the scene, and the Menifee Police Department is investigating.
