The first customers to enter the new store, which became the largest IKEA in the country when its doors opened at 9 a.m., were treated to several giveaways.

The first 26 customers were being given a Landskrona sofa, according to the company’s website.

The next 100 customers received a free Poang armchair, and the first 200 children could take home a free Famning Hjarta heart cushion, the website stated.

Sky5 showed a large crowd of people gathered outside the store’s front doors before they opened for business Wednesday.

The new IKEA is located at 600 South IKEA Way, just about a mile from the old store, which is now permanently closed.
