Drive-by Shooting in Lynwood Leaves 1 Man Dead, 2 Injured

One man died and two others were injured after a drive-by shooting in Lynwood Sunday afternoon, according to officials.

The shooting occurred in the 2700 block of East 110th Street (map) around 1 p.m., a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department news release stated.

The men, who were all in their 20s, were outside playing music and talking when a car drove by and fired on them several times, a neighbor said.

One man appeared to have been struck in the neck and another in the finger, the neighbor said.

The vehicle was described as a four-door, light-colored car, the news release stated.
