Three people were hospitalized on Friday after crashing into a Hyde Park home following a high-speed pursuit.

The pursuit started near Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue. The driver was initially wanted for reckless driving, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The vehicle eventually crashed into a commercial building in the 2400 block of Slauson Avenue around 4:45 p.m.

After the collision, the driver hopped out of the car and began running down 2nd Avenue before they were caught shortly after and taken into custody, police said.

Two passengers remained trapped inside the car and need to be extricated by firefighters, police said.

Sky5 images show the suspect’s vehicle fully inside the home, leaving a trail of destruction and debris behind.

All three suspects were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions were not available.
