Elizabeth Smart Barred From Testifying in Trial of Man Accused of Holding OC Teen Captive for 10 Years

A judge ruled Thursday that one-time Utah captive Elizabeth Smart could not testify in the case against Isidro Garcia, a Bell Gardens man accused of abducted his girlfriend’s teen daughter in Santa Ana in 2004 and holding her captive for a decade. Smart was kidnapped from her Salt City Home in 2002 and held captive for nine months. Chip Yost reports for the KTLA 5 News at 6 on Feb. 18, 2016.
