‘Full House’ Actor John Stamos Sentenced in Beverly Hills DUI Case

John Stamos entered a no contest plea Tuesday to one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of a drug following his arrest in June in Beverly Hills, according to the DA’s office.

The 52-year-old actor, best known for his role in the ABC sitcom “Full House,” was immediately sentenced to three years summary probation, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated in a news release.

Stamos, who did not appear in court, was also ordered to enter a three-month alcohol education class for first time DUI offenders, attend two hours of drug and alcohol addiction counseling and provide proof he also attended 52 meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous/Substance Abuse meetings utilizing the 12-step program.

The actor was taken into custody June 12 near the intersection of Canon Drive and Brighton Way after “concerned citizens reported the defendant was allegedly behaving strangely and driving erratically,” according to an earlier news release.
