Police asked the public for help Thursday in identifying a man suspected in multiple armed robberies in Orange County.

The latest robbery took place at a Ralphs store located at 10081 Adams Avenue (map) in Huntington Beach at about 11:30 p.m. on July 7, the Huntington Beach Police Department posted on Facebook.

A man pulled out a handgun after entering the store and demanded money from the cashier, according to police.

The same man was believed to have also robbed a CVS store at gunpoint in the same shopping center on April 2.

The man has targeted CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Albertsons, Ralphs and Vons stores in multiple cities, including Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Garden Grove and Costa Mesa, according to police.

Authorities released several surveillance images of the man in hopes of identifying him.

He was described as a white man, 35 to 45 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds.

The man had a thin dark beard, but was clean shaven in some of the previous robberies, according to the Police Department.
