Help sought ID’ing man believed to have been hit by car in Boyle Heights area

A Los Angeles area medical center asked the public for help Wednesday in identifying a patient who was hospitalized earlier this week.

The man was found Monday on Pleasant Avenue in the Boyle Heights area and brought to the Los Angeles General Medical Center, according to a news release from the L.A. County Department of Health Services.


Officials believe the patient may have been struck by a car.

The unidentified man was described as being about 30 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 162 pounds.

He has a thin build, dark brown or black hair and brown eyes, according to the release. The patient also has a tattoo on the back of his left shoulder.
