Officials were working to remove homeless people’s belongings from an encampment in the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve in Van Nuys Monday, as red flag warnings went into effect across Southern California. Officials are removing the camps in an effort to avoid a repeat of the destructive wildfire that swept through the area in July.
