Los Angeles’ two hometown soccer teams are set for an epic showdown at the Rose Bowl for Independence Day.

For the 23rdEl Tráfico,” LA Galaxy and LAFC both head to Pasadena for the second Fourth of July in a row, after their original 2023 match at the Rose Bowl – originally scheduled for Feb. 25, 2023 – was moved to July 4, 2023 due to inclement weather

Included in the festivities for the crosstown derby are giveaways and two live sets from Dutch Grammy-winning DJ and producer AFROJACK.

In addition, fans are recommended to arrive at the stadium grounds around at 2:30 p.m. to participate in SoccerFest, which will feature opportunities to play a round of Futpool and sample Maruchan Ramen and Coca-Cola products.

Attendees are encouraged to stick around after the final whistle for the longest-running fireworks display on the West Coast.

The latest rendition of “El Tráfico” kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. If you can’t make it in person, the match can be streamed on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Last season’s Rose Bowl matchup between LA Galaxy and LAFC set the MLS single-match attendance record, 82,110. The Galaxy won that match 2-1.
