MADD, Supporters Urge Ignition-Lock Requirement for Drunken Drivers in California

Mothers Against Drunk Driving and other supporters of a California bill that would required ignition interlocks for convicted drunken drivers gathered at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center Friday to urge passage of the bill. Senate Bill 1046 would expand the ignition lock pilot program in Alameda, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Tulare counties to a statement requirement. It was unanimously passed by the state Senate on May 31, and is pending hearings by Assembly committees. Kareen Wynter reports for the KTLA 5 News at 1 on June 24, 2016.
