A midday shooting in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles left one man injured, according to police.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting was reported at 11:57 a.m. in the area of Pico Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 40-year-old man with a gunshot would to the shoulder.
Police said the man was found conscious and breathing. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
A man was taken into custody, police confirmed.
