Man Sought After Attack at Cal State Northridge: Police

Police on Friday released a composite sketch of a man wanted in connection with a reported attack on the campus of Cal State Northridge.

The unprovoked attack occurred about 12:50 p.m. Thursday in a men’s restroom on the first floor of Oviatt Library, according to a statement from the university’s Department of Police Services.

The assailant grabbed the wrist of the victim, whom he did not know, and threatened to kill him, the statement said. No weapon was seen.

The attacker then left the area. The victim was not hurt, police said.

The man being sought is said to be white, 25 to 35 years old, with brown eyes, weighing 150 to 175 pounds. His build and height are described as medium.
